What does the £1,345 package cover?
For the agreed residential job: investigation, detection and tracing, necessary access or excavation, plumbing repair, parts, materials, suitable testing and a Trace & Access report. A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to the repair. Decorating and remedial reinstatement are excluded.
Will my floors or walls need to be opened?
We use the available evidence to narrow the search before discussing access. A hidden pipe normally needs to be reached to complete its repair. The size and position of an opening depend on the pipe and the building.
Is the £100 deposit an additional charge?
No. Once the scope and appointment have been agreed, the £100 booking deposit is deducted from £1,345, leaving £1,245. An enquiry does not reserve an appointment or take a payment.
Can you help if I cannot see a leak?
Yes. A history of falling pressure, recurring damp or unexplained water use can give us a starting point. You do not need to identify the pipe or choose the detection equipment yourself.
Is there an hourly charge on top of the package?
Not simply because the same agreed residential work takes longer. The £1,345 price relates to the defined instruction. Any different proposed scope should be explained and agreed before additional work.
Do you restore the flooring and decoration?
Decorative and remedial reinstatement are excluded. The agreed plumbing package includes necessary access, but restoring floors, plaster, paving, paintwork and other finishes is a separate arrangement.
Is the service available for businesses?
Yes, commercial enquiries are assessed individually. The residential £1,345 offer does not apply to commercial premises or automatically to a wider communal system.
Will the insurer pay for the work?
That is a decision for your insurer under your policy. Ask about approval, evidence and which stages are covered before instructing work. The included report does not guarantee payment.
Can you find every leak without opening anything?
Detection can help focus the search, but conditions and access affect the result. A concealed pipe normally needs to be reached to confirm and repair the fault. No single instrument can guarantee an exact result in every property.
What does the warranty cover?
A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to the completed plumbing repair. It does not mean every pipe in the building or unrelated damage is covered. Keep the written repair and warranty details.
Does a listed town mean you have an office there?
No. Town pages describe areas where we consider enquiries. Coverage and appointments are confirmed for the exact address; no branch office or fixed response time is implied.
