Understand the problem
Locating water loss is one part of resolving the problem. The pipe must be accessed, the appropriate repair completed and suitable checks carried out. We make those stages part of the agreed residential package rather than leaving the repair unexplained.
From the opening to the final plumbing checks
Once findings support access, the affected plumbing is reached and repaired using suitable parts and materials. Testing is selected for the system and the work completed. The written report and workmanship warranty relate to the agreed repair.
What to prepare
Discuss isolation, access permissions and any practical restrictions before the visit. Tell us if vulnerable occupants or business activities make water interruption difficult.
Scope matters
The 12-month workmanship warranty is on the plumbing repair. It does not mean unrelated pipework or pre-existing building damage is covered. Restoring finishes is excluded.
Detection through to the plumbing repair
For agreed residential work, the £1,345 package connects specialist investigation with the plumbing repair. It includes detection and tracing, necessary access or excavation, parts and materials, suitable post-repair testing and a Trace & Access report. A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to the repair.
The £100 booking deposit is deducted from the total, leaving £1,245. Applicable tax is included. Decorative and remedial reinstatement, including restoring floors, plaster, paving and other finishes, is excluded. Commercial work is quoted separately. Read the complete package scope before arranging a visit.
Choosing the right method
One method that may be considered is pressure testing & isolation. Help establish which part of a plumbing system needs closer attention. The engineer selects the approach for the actual installation; no specific instrument is promised for every visit.
