The warranty relates to the repair
The promise concerns workmanship on the agreed plumbing repair. It does not mean the entire property, unrelated pipework or pre-existing water damage is covered. Keep the repair record and the written warranty details supplied with the completed instruction.
Explain a concern with the work
If you notice a problem after repair, record what has changed and refer to the original job details. The same visible mark can relate to remaining moisture, another source or an issue needing reassessment. The next step should be based on that evidence rather than an assumption about the cause.
Restoration remains a separate stage
The warranty is not a drying or decorating service. Floors, plaster, paving and other finishes may need separate remedial work after a successful plumbing repair. Discuss any ongoing concerns before covering an affected area.
